I spent two days in Helsinki this week. I attended a travel blogger seminar on Wednesday and the travel fair Matkamessut and an Instagram Travel Thursday meeting on Thursday. I was super excited about the trip beforehand.

It was so much better than I anticipated! I had a great time and my head was and still is buzzing with new ideas. It was so inspiring to be surrounded by so many travel bloggers, both Finnish and international. Actually I had no idea that there are so many great Finnish travel blogs out there and I met really nice people with whom I’ll hopefully have the opportunity to stay in touch also in the future. Who knows, maybe you’ll see a guest posts from some of them on my blog at some time.

I have already been working on my blog a little and some bigger improvements and changes are coming soon as well. Just wait and see.

From all the great people I met I’d like to especially say hi to Satu (Destination Unknown), Inka (Archie Gone Lebanon), Mari (Marimente) and Miia (Miikkulaisen) – it was great to meet you! A special thank you goes to Laurel (Monkeys and Mountains) for the wonderful mentoring session we shared.
